What to Expect.

Each and every family unit is different but all have one thing in common: love!

Just as not one family is the same, no two sessions are the same because love is our guide. What is important to YOU during this phase of life?

Is it a freckle, the way a child scrunches a nose, hand holding, brushing hair out of a face, or how they look up at you? The way your toddler squeezes your leg because he or she is just the right height or maybe the way your teenager squeezes you after a bad day at school…? Is it how innocent and small your newborn is, the smell they have when nuzzled up in your shoulder, or the wispy loose hair on your child's head that no matter how much you do their hair it still comes out?

My goal is to capture those authentic moments, emotions and personalities that just scream: THIS IS US!

“Appreciate the here and now. Open your eyes. Dare to be wowed.”

During a session with me, I’ll guide your family to organically connect and interact in a way that is specific to you.

The things in life that we treasure most are ever changing and it is a passion of mine to freeze time for you so you can always remember the way that life is for you in the here and now, the essence of your family. The tender connections, the playful moments, pouts, laughter and love - we will capture it all together.

Prior to our session, through questionnaires and consultations, I will learn about your family in a way you may not have experienced before, so we can work together to create art and I can capture your family's story.

Your gallery will surely include traditionally posed family shots sprinkled around the raw emotion but overall perfection is not the objective.

After years of growing my family, us growing as a unit and being photographed, and eventually running my own photography business I stand solid in my opinion that the most important images are the perfectly imperfect moments.

Life is that way and my aim is to snapshot your life so you can always remember the sweet nuances of your most cherished ones.
